How to Play Hextris

• Objective:
• Stack colored blocks in a hexagonal formation, matching three blocks of the same color to clear them. Prevent the blocks from stacking up and filling the screen.
• Controls:
  • Rotate the Hexagon: Use the arrow keys (left/right) on a keyboard or tap and swipe on a mobile device to rotate the hexagonal formation.
  • Match Blocks: Align three or more blocks of the same color to clear them.
• Gameplay Instructions:
  1. Start the Game: Blocks of different colors will begin to approach the hexagonal grid from various directions.
  2. Rotate the Hexagon: Move the hexagon to align incoming blocks with others of the same color.
  3. Match and Clear Blocks: Form groups of three or more blocks of the same color to clear them and prevent the stack from reaching the edge.
  4. Increase Your Score: The longer you survive and the more matches you make, the higher your score.
  5. Survive the Speed Increase: As you progress, blocks will approach faster, requiring quick thinking and precise control.

  • Plan your moves by watching the direction of incoming blocks.
  • Focus on clearing blocks near the outer edges to prevent the stack from reaching the boundary.
